Injuries happen — even to the most active tennis lovers. But recovery doesn’t mean we stop showing up for ourselves. It just means we adjust the game plan. That’s why I keep a fully stocked recovery bag with me — a mix of tools that help me stay connected to movement, mindset, and motivation, even when I’m off the court.
Here’s what’s in my recovery bag (and why it matters):
✨ Water Bottle
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Whether you're nursing a tennis injury or just going about your day, staying hydrated is one of the easiest and most effective ways to support your recovery. Bonus: I aim for at least half my body weight in ounces of water a day. Sometimes I’ll add electrolytes for an extra boost!
🖊️ Journal
Mindset is everything — especially when you're sidelined. I use my journal to track small wins, reflect on how I’m feeling, and stay focused on my comeback goals. There’s something powerful about putting pen to paper, even if it’s just a quick note or mantra.
💥 Theragun
This little powerhouse helps release tight spots and relieve soreness. It's my go-to after light movement sessions or just when I need to show my muscles a little love. Recovery is physical and intentional.
💪 Light Handheld Weights
Even though I’m not playing full matches right now, that doesn’t mean I stop moving. I use these for arm work, light core exercises, and to keep my body engaged and strong — all with a focus on injury-safe movements.
🎾 ServeMaster Trainer
Just because I’m off the court doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about my serve! The ServeMaster lets me keep working on motion, rhythm, and technique without a single ball — and it’s a surprisingly fun part of my rehab.
🧥 Cute Après Tennis Club Sweatshirt
Let’s be honest: comfort and style matter. This cozy sweatshirt reminds me that healing is part of the process — and you can still feel good (and look cute) while doing it.
