Because injuries happen—and we're coming back stronger.
If you play tennis long enough, chances are you’ll face some kind of injury. For me, it came in the form of a torn calf. One minute I was mid-match, feeling great... and the next, I was on the ground, sidelined with pain, frustration, a thousand questions racing through my mind, and then a cocktail with friends. 😅
But here’s the thing: injury doesn’t mean stopping. It means adjusting, recovering, and coming back with more strength, more intention, and a smarter body. I realized this injury wasn’t the end of my fitness journey—it’s just a pivot. And that mindset shift inspired this new series: Fit for the Court: Recovery & Rehab Edition.
This isn’t just about healing—it's about how we heal. I’m using this time to focus on recovery with purpose, leaning into the tools, techniques, and routines that support both the body and the mindset of an athlete—yes, even when we’re temporarily off the court. Whether you’re currently dealing with an injury or want to be bring in new strategies to keep you on the court, this series is for you.
What You Can Expect:
💧 Hydration + Healing Support
Your body can’t recover if you don’t give it what it needs. I’m focusing on hydration, anti-inflammatory nutrition, and gentle supplements to support muscle repair from the inside out.
🧘 Real Rest (and Real Talk)
I’ll be honest: I’m not good at slowing down. But rest is not weakness—it's required. I’ll share how I’m building in true recovery moments (without losing my mind or my routine), from elevation and icing to mental resets and journaling.
💪 Staying Strong While Sidelined
Just because I can’t sprint doesn’t mean I can’t sweat. I’m keeping up with core work, arm and shoulder strength, and balance/stability exercises that don’t stress the injury. It’s not about perfection—it’s about maintaining momentum.
✨ Tools That Help
I’m using everything from physical therapy to acupuncture and K-laser treatments to get back on court faster—and I’ll give you honest updates on what’s working, what’s not, and how it all fits into a recovery plan that still feels like me.
🎾 Mindset Matters
Getting injured hits more than just your body. It shakes your rhythm, your identity as a player, and sometimes your confidence. This series is also about staying mentally tough, emotionally supported, and still connected to the game—even when you’re off the court.
Why I’m Sharing This
